Learn Outdoor Skills at Sharon Bluffs!
Spend Saturdays in July learning new outdoor skills at the Nature Center at Sharon Bluffs! Classes will be at 10:00 each Saturday of the month, and each day will focus on a different skill. Programs are led by ACCB, are hands-on and participants will get to try the demonstrated skills.
Schedule:
July 8 – Fire Starting – learn how to start a blazing campfire with just a spark.

July 15 – Atlatl – Atlatls are the precursors to modern archery. Learn the history of the atlatl and how they are used.
July 22 – Dutch Oven Cooking – No outdoor adventure is complete with a meal! Learn how to use the Dutch oven to make delicious recipes.
July 29 – Wild Edible Plants – Learn which plants are in stock and edible in the forest at Sharon Bluffs. Be prepared to hike.
