AMBASSADOR COMMITTEE

PACT Ambassadors act as the official committee welcoming representatives of the chamber in recognizing new businesses, changes of ownership, and business expansion and improvement projects.

The committee meets as needed and schedules Ambassador visits regularly. Please contact the Chamber if you are interested in being an Ambassador!

TOURISM COMMITTEE

The Appanoose County Tourism Committee administers the money collected through the lodging tax in Centerville and the unincorporated areas of Appanoose County. The committee consists of nine members. The City of Centerville, Appanoose County Board of Supervisors, and the Centerville-Rathbun Lake Area Chamber each appointment three members to represent their area’s interest.

The committee meets as needed. The annual grant application period opens the first of February and is announced on this website and the PACT social media channels.

MAIN STREET CENTERVILLE COMMITTEES

The Main Street Four Point Approach was developed in 1977 by the National Trust for Historic Preservation’s Main Street Center. Its primary purpose is to establish historic commercial districts as economically-viable centers of commerce through comprehensive, incremental and coordinated work in four key areas: organization, promotion, design and economic vitality.

LAKE COMMITTEE

The Lake Committee was formed by business owners surrounding Lake Rathbun with the mission to promote tourism and get the word out about all that there is to see and do at our lake businesses. Current Members are:
